Electronic Fuel Pump Failure Analysis

First, the electronic fuel pump suddenly turns off when the car is driving. During the normal traffic operation of the driver, the electronic fuel pump suddenly stopped and could not be restarted. For this fault check, the fuel pressure value in the fuel pipe is too low to reach the mark, so that the engine abnormally turns off and no longer starts. Replace the electronic fuel pump vehicle and run it immediately. An inspection of the faulty oil pump will reveal that the pressure regulating valve has loose parts, causing the leak to depressurize the oil supply system. According to this, the loose part can be changed from a card type to a buckle type.

Second, the vehicle oil level indicator meter is not full instructions and actual does not match. Some models equipped with electronic fuel pump will not fully fill the oil level when full tank is present. This failure may be the failure of the electronic fuel pump. Inspection by removing the oil pump will find that although the oil floater moves flexibly and the internal resistance value is within the specified range. However, the oil pump's bracket could not be reset after being stuck in compression. As a result, there is a difference in the height of the oil floater and the actual oil. In order to avoid extreme compression, the spring deforms and causes the stent to snap again. The height of the spring sleeve can be reduced to suppress the deformation of the spring.

Third, the vehicle fuel level indicator instrument empty indication does not match the actual full box. Some other models fitted with electronic fuel pumps may have encountered a fault when the fuel tank is full but the meter still shows an empty position. The reason may be that the electronic instrument data is output incorrectly. Or the oil high sensing device transmits data deviations. First, it should be measured whether the fuel tank is full. The resistance of the oil pump may be found to be a vacant internal resistance. At this time, it can be determined that the electronic fuel pump has failed. Dismantling the fuel pump can find that the brush holder breaks and seizes other parts. It is thus possible to replace high-strength brackets or use stiffening devices to fasten the original bracket.
