Dongfeng Motor sold over 300,000 vehicles in August, a year-on-year increase of 4%

Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. is one of the four major automotive groups in China. It owns a number of subsidiaries including Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicles, Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co., Ltd., Dongfeng Passenger Vehicles, and Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. Recently, China Netcom learned from officials that in August 2017, Dongfeng Motor Corporation sold a total of more than 300,000 new vehicles, an increase of 4.08% year-on-year. Among them, Dongfeng own brand sold 102,600 new cars, up 7% year-on-year; Dongfeng new energy vehicles sold 5,300, an increase of 206.74% year-on-year.

In August 2017, Dongfeng Motor Corporation sold a total of 309,100 new vehicles, an increase of 4.08% compared with 297,700 sales data for the same period last year. Among them, Dongfeng's own brand sales maintained growth, selling 102,600 new vehicles, up 7% year-on-year; Dongfeng joint venture brands sold 206,600 units; and Dongfeng New Energy Automobile sold 5,300 new vehicles, an increase of 206.74% year-on-year. In addition, Dongfeng's independent commercial vehicles sold 42900 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 27.86%.

Dongfeng Motor sold over 10,000 vehicles in August, including Dongfeng Nissan Suzuki (35,565), Dongfeng Honda New CR-V (17,826), Dongfeng Nissan Qijun (16,001), Dongfeng Honda Civic (12,930), and Dongfeng 580 (12,551), Dongfeng Nissan (11,155), and Dongfeng Honda XR-V (11,016).

Dongfeng Motor Company sold a total of 2,423,300 new cars in January-August of 2107, of which, the cumulative sales of Dongfeng Passenger Vehicles were 2,048,100; commercial vehicles sold 384,200, a year-on-year increase of 25.12%. The cumulative sales volume of self-owned brands reached 890,300, an increase of 7.2% compared to the same period of last year, and the joint venture brand sold a total of 1.5393 million new cars. In addition, in its own brand, passenger cars sold 516,100 units; commercial vehicles sold 370,900 new vehicles, which was a year-on-year increase of 25.53%. Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle Co., Ltd. has become the sales champion of many subsidiaries of Dongfeng Motor Co., with sales of 640,600.
