Abstract: The smoothness of the soft plastic film used in the packaging process of cigarettes is an important factor affecting the operation and speed of the packaging machine. In this paper, the friction coefficient of the soft plastic smoke film sample at 60 °C was tested using Labthink blue light FPT-F1 friction coefficient / peel tester , and the basic process of the test and the applicable scope of the test equipment, equipment parameters, etc. were briefly introduced. It can be used as reference when selecting the soft plastic package slip performance test equipment and test method.

1 , the meaning

The test standard for the coefficient of friction of soft plastic packaging in China is GB 10006-1988 “Measurement Method for Friction Coefficient of Plastic Film and Sheet”. 4.1 Test principle

4.3 Equipment Parameters

5 , the test process

(2) Select the friction coefficient test mode and set test parameters such as test speed, test temperature, and stroke.

(3) The 6.35 cm × 10 cm tobacco film sample is clamped on the slider, and the inner surface of the sample is in direct contact with the slider; after the test platform reaches the set temperature, the 25 cm × 13 cm sample is tiled. On the test platform, fix it with tape or sample holder, with the outer surface of the sample facing up. A system for measuring the coefficient of friction between the outer surfaces of the test specimens is formed. During the process of mounting the test specimens, the test surfaces of the test specimens cannot be touched, and the test specimens should be flat and free from wrinkles.

(4) Connect the slider to the force sensor with a connecting device, and place the slider without impact on the middle part of the sample fixed on the test platform so that the sliding direction of the sample is parallel to the test direction.

6 , test results

The average values ​​of the coefficient of friction of the smoke film tested at 60 °C are: static friction coefficient 0.511 and dynamic friction coefficient 0.469 .
