According to reports, 25 archaeological discoveries were selected from 18 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions. Among them, Henan Province was shortlisted for four entries, Shaanxi, Shanxi, and Hubei each had two finalists, and Beijing also had two finalists. The archeological and ancient border areas were ancient. The minority archaeological finds are quite prominent. Judging from the times, the short-listed projects have a more balanced distribution. The pre-historical, Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties, the Qin and Han dynasties, the Wei and Jin dynasties, and the Tang, Song, Yuan and Ming dynasties had roughly equal proportions.
Although the Maojiaping site was defeated, the academic significance cannot be ignored. The site is located at the south bank terrace of Maojiaping Village, Luan Town, Gangu County, Tianshui City. The distribution area is about 600,000 square meters, and the total number of tombs is over one thousand. Since 2012, the Early Qin Culture Joint Archeological Team has carried out three annual excavations on the Maojiaping site in Gangu County. After three years of excavation, more than 2,000 artifacts (groups) were unearthed, which greatly enriched the connotation of Qin culture in the Zhou Dynasty in the local area and even in the upper reaches of the Luohe River. The relics of various types of relics continued from the late Western Zhou Dynasty to the Warring States Period, which improved the chronology of the Qin culture in eastern Gansu Province and provided important evidence for the exploration of the Qin Dynasty's migration to the west. The site may be the county seat of Qin County established by Qin Wugong in 688 BC, which is of great significance for the study of the origin of the county system in China. Among them, the excavation area of 500 square meters in 2014 was discovered. The bronze inscriptions and large-scale tombs found in the "Qin Gong Zuozi Vehicle" attracted widespread attention in the archaeological community.
Ten major new discoveries for national archaeological events have been held since 1991. Four projects have been finalized in our province. They were the Dunhuang Hanchongquan Site in 1991, the Dabaozi Mountain Site in Li County and the Zhangjiachuan Warring States Period Cemetery in 2008, and 2008. Year Lintan Mogou Qijia Cultural Site.
