The polyvinyl chloride polymerization reactor equipped with a kettle top condenser independently developed by Tangshan Sanyou Group has recently been granted a patent by the State Intellectual Property Office. The condensing device is applied to the top of a 70m3 polymerizer kettle and is the first in China. The application of this patented technology can shorten the reaction time of a single polymerization reactor by 40 to 50 minutes, and increase the annual production capacity by about 4,000 tons.
At present, the company's chlor-alkali primary and tertiary polymerizers have all used this technology, adding about 24,000 tons of new production capacity and achieving an annual profit of about 8 million yuan. According to the overall deployment, the chlor-alkali second phase polymerization reactor will adopt this technology after this year's overhaul, and the total new capacity will be 48,000 tons.
