For this demand in the aviation industry, SABIC Innovative Plastics has developed Uitem Foam, which is based on Uitem polyetherimide (PEI) resin material, density is 1/10-1/30 of the traditional resin, suitable for aircraft Housing/core/shell composite structure. The series offers three different densities of foam materials, 60 kg, 80 kg and 110 kg, respectively, for cubic meters. Suitable for a variety of composite materials processing processes, such as vacuum packaging, compression molding and thermoforming.
