When a car fails, other vehicles will receive signals and automatically take measures such as deceleration, parking or detour. In addition, mobile communication terminals can also identify identities and deliver electronic medical records. For example, a sensor may be installed on clothes and communicated with a mobile phone to monitor body temperature, blood pressure, and pulse in real time, and may also be recorded on an electronic medical record to report to a hospital on a regular basis. Internet of Things technology is an important symbol for achieving a smart city.

There will be 35 academic reports from the main venue and 22 branch venues in this year's Tech Year, spanning September and October. At the same time, the annual conference will also be a “pulse” for the development of Wenjiang District. This is also the first time that the Scientific and Technological Association will cooperate with districts and counties. In the future, a district or county will be selected and an in-depth analysis of the consultation will be conducted at the annual meeting of science and technology to solve the development problems of all districts (cities) and counties in Chengdu.
