(6) Polygonal method
The essence of the law is to calculate the reserves in the block controlled by the coal point in each project, as shown in Figure 2-8-19.
Each exploration area has multiple coal-seeking engineering points. The adjacent project points are connected by dotted lines, and the vertical bisectors are connected. The intersection points of the bisectors are connected by solid lines to form each project. See the polygon with the coal point as the center. Multiply the polygon area by the thickness and the bulk density of the coal point in the polygon to obtain the reserves of the coal seam within the area controlled by each coal engineering point. Add all the polygon reserves. It is the total reserves of its coal seams.
The method has the advantages that the method is simple and the operation is fast, and different coal thickness, ash, coal quality and other indicators can be separately calculated and counted according to requirements. However, the shape of the coal seam is seriously distorted, so it is not applicable to the exploration area where there are few coal engineering points. It is only applicable to the change of coal seam thickness and coal quality index, and the structure is simple, the production is gentle, and the coal project point is not Small but irregularly arranged areas.
