We will promote the construction of business platforms such as e-commerce, professional markets, exhibition centers and exhibitions at home and abroad, conduct in-depth trade and investment promotion activities, and support enterprises in actively developing new markets while consolidating traditional markets. Continue to control the export of "two high and one capital" products.
In addition, China will actively expand imports next year. Improve import promotion policies, further simplify import management measures, support the expansion of imports, and promote trade balance. Adapt to the needs of domestic structural adjustment and industrial upgrading, expand the import of advanced technology equipment and key components, and promote the technological transformation of enterprises. We will further broaden the import channels for bulk commodities such as grain and cotton and facilitate the timely organization of imports in accordance with domestic and international market changes to ease domestic supply pressure. Organize import commodity exhibitions to enhance the import promotion functions of large-scale exhibitions such as Canton Fair. Establish a coordination mechanism for imports of government, industry organizations and enterprises for key commodities, strengthen macro-control and guidance, and improve the joint negotiation mechanism for iron ore and potash fertilizer. Continue to promote the developed countries to relax their high-tech export control.
According to the forecast of the Ministry of Commerce, China’s total import and export volume in 2010 will reach about 2.9 trillion US dollars, an increase of more than 30%. The balance of trade continues to improve. The trade in services maintained rapid development.
