Since the beginning of 2010, Xichai has been developing the CA6DM2-42E4 diesel engine performance development centering on the national IV product development target; the CA6DN1-50E4 diesel engine has initially completed the performance development and began the 2000-hour endurance test; CA6DL1-32E4, CA6DL2 -35E4 series diesel engine (SCR) has completed vehicle calibration work and put into small batch production; CA6DL1-29E4R diesel engine (EGR) completed three generations of development, electronic control system, post-processing through 2400 hours load cycle endurance assessment; CA6DL2-35E4R diesel engine ( EGR) Completion of performance emissions development, OBD calibration and 1080 hour emission durability tests, and national IV emission certification.

In order to prolong the life cycle of CA6DF series diesel engines, Xichai has carried out CA6DF4 IV emission upgrade development in a timely manner. It has completed performance emission development and obtained the national IV emission certification report. The reliability development has completed 500 hours of thermal shock test and 1000 hours of reliability. Tests and 1080 hours discharge endurance tests. The first prototype development is currently under way.

In order to meet the state's stricter emission regulations for light vehicles, Xichai also accelerated the development of 4-cylinder 4DW, 4DX, and CA4DF4 Series IV diesel engines, and quickly completed multiple projects through market research and benchmarking against competitors. The design has been repeatedly demonstrated by experts, and the project passed the factory-level review. CA4DF4 and 4DWE4 have completed the design of special parts and drawings, and prototype testing is under way. It is expected that the prototype will be available at the end of the year.

In response to the promotion of new energy in the country, Xichai also accelerated the development of F and L-Series IV natural gas engines. The 6SL2-31E4N prototype has completed performance development. The 13-liter high horsepower natural gas engine has been developed and design work has been completed. Prototype trials are underway.
