Its exemplary meaning is that the raw coal used is the “three highs (high sulfur content, high ash content, high ash melting point)”, which is commonly known as “smelly coal”, and has no separate coal for exploitation and direct use; at the same time, it has innovated in China. The indirect coal-to-oil production process lays the foundation for the development of coal-to-oil from demonstration projects to large-scale industrialization. The coal-based synthetic oil produced by Tianxi was tested by professional inspections in Taiyuan and Luoyang and identified as high-cleaning fuel for vehicles with low olefins, long induction period, lead-free, sulfur-free and residue-free, fully meeting the national III standard. , The product shows a broad market prospect.

According to Cao Yongkun, general manager and party committee secretary of Tianxi Coal-to-oil Division, the Jincheng mining area underground has not only high-quality anthracite coal, but also the poor quality of the No. 15 coal geological reserves is quite rich, with statistics reaching 4.2 billion tons. The MTG (fixed-bed methanol-to-gasoline) technology is the core process of the latter half of coal-to-liquids and is the bottleneck for getting through the entire system. This technology was introduced from Mobil Corporation in the United States, but it has not been used in the world for more than 20 years. Tianxi activated this world-wide technology and achieved industrialization. It not only produced a higher-quality No. 93 gasoline than similar products, but also produced a variety of high-end fine chemicals such as liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, and mesitylene. product.
