Jiangyan Group Completed Development of Wind Turbine Pitch Cascade Series DC Motor

Recently, the reliability test conducted by the China North Industries Group Jiangbei Electromechanical Group Co., Ltd. developed a wind turbine pitch series motor, which indicates that the company has completed the research and development of wind power generator pitch series motor.
At present, the pitch systems assembled by domestic wind power manufacturers mainly include forms of self-excited DC motors, series-excited DC motors, AC variable frequency motors, and permanent magnet synchronous motors. The wind turbine pitch series DC motor is one of the main drive components of the pitch system. Due to the blockade of foreign key technologies, it is mainly based on imported products. Faced with the problems of long lead times, difficult maintenance, and high purchase costs, the localization of this type of motor has become imminent. The company completed the adaptation of its pitching system with multi-type fans last year after the batch production of shunt motors and permanent magnet DC motors. Immediately organized the development team to develop the series-excited DC motor project. The company completed prototypes by overcoming difficult conditions such as trial production conditions and test conditions. It also conducted a number of assessment tests and began to simulate its actual operation status in the wind field from July. For reliability testing, it has entered the wind field commissioning stage. This type of pitch motor has the characteristics of large starting torque, high servo precision, strong overload capacity and high reliability.
