Production of sulfuric acid co-produced cement with high-quality gypsum, the production cost of sulfuric acid is 244.63 yuan per ton, the production cost of co-produced cement is 153.90 yuan per ton, 15% lower than that of sulphuric acid produced by pyrite, and 37% lower than that of sulphur to sulphuric acid. Product costs have a clear competitive advantage. After the project is completed, it can realize an annual sales income of 100 million yuan, an annual net profit of 25.1 million yuan, a total annual profit and tax of approximately 47 million yuan, a project investment profit and tax rate of 44%, and the economic benefits are considerable.
The experts pointed out that the natural anhydrite production of sulfuric acid cogeneration cement technology is reliable, economically viable and in line with national industrial policies. Moreover, the project construction is a pioneering project and is the first one in China. It will open up a new raw material route for China's sulfuric acid industry and solve the problem of insufficient sulfur resources in China. The relevant data shows that China's gypsum resources have proven reserves of about 100 billion tons. If we can promote the development of such projects, it will change China's current pattern of relying on imported sulfur to produce sulfuric acid, which has strategic economic significance.
