How to maintain the calorimeter

Coal Inspection Instrumentation Calorimeter Frequently Asked Questions and Maintenance:

The calorimeter should be frequently inspected and maintained every day after the end of the test. The instrument can always maintain a good working condition and can prolong its service life:

Calorimeter main unit: After the test is completed, the inner cylinder water should be drained and wiped dry to keep it clean.

Test water: It is best to use distilled water, and it should be replaced regularly to ensure the reliability and success rate of the test. Oxygen bottle is turned off. Oxygenator residual gas emission Oxygen bomb: Except for cleaning and drying the oxygen bomb after each test, the following Some points should also be noted and inspected: oxygen bombs can only be twisted by hand, when the hand feels resistance there should be stopped, avoid using tools hard twisted, after each test is completed, should be cleaned. The cap and valve seat should be flushed and wiped dry after use. Rinse the cup, clean the threads, and inspect the cup for mechanical damage. Be careful not to invert the cup. Check the seal ring for wear and damage during combustion. If there is a leak in the seal, replace it. Check whether the insulation pad and insulation cover are good or not damaged, and check the insulation regularly. Periodically conduct hydrostatic tests on oxygen bombs. After each hydrostatic test, the use of oxygen bombs must not exceed one year (or not exceed 5,000 tests).

Cementing plugs:

Cementing plugs from high performance material such as rubbers and phenolic resins.our cementing plugs are specially designed with a positive wiping action to ensure that the casing is clean, we have both conventional standard plugs and non-rotating plugs.

Top plugs

The top cementing plug is designed to exert continuous pressure on the casing wall. The core is made of aluminum or phenolic depending on the application and well conditions, the tapered base fits the cavity of the bottom plug initiating a positive seal. A solid rubber top plug is also available.

Bottom plugs:

Like the top cementing plug, the fins and tail section provide positive wiping action. Fins also serve as a seal while cementing. The core of bottom plug is alao made of special material such as aluminium or phenolic resins depend on the application and well conditions, a rubber diaphragm at the top bottom plugs ruptures after the plug is seated allowing cement to flow through

Float collar and float shoe

Float equipment serves the backbone of casing equipment used during primary cementing operations, float equipment guides the casing to total depth and prevents contaminated mud from entering the casing. Also,it provides a landing point for casing wiper plugs, reinforces the lower end of the casing string, and ensures greater accuracy of cement slurry displacement.

FEATURES:

API 5CT,API 5B,API RP 10F rating,china petroleum department standarc SY/T5618-2000.

Rounded nose profile helps guide the casing string(only for float shoe).

The valve is made with phenolic material and molded with high strength concrete. Both the calve and concrete are easily drillable with PDC or rock bits.

High strength design ensure excellent performance for flow endurance and back pressure holding.

Automatically non-rotational groove design ensures corresponding cementing plugs drilled out quickly(only for non-rotating float collar).

Single valve and double valve versions are available. Spring structure and bal structure valve are available: insret type and normal type are available.

Solid rigid casing centralizers

Rigid centralizers are an integral part of the cementing process. They provide the mechanism that centers the casing in the hole and allows uniform cement flow around the casing to help protect it at all point. Several styles of centralizers are available for matching different well specification and hole size, including turbulence generating designs that help clean the annulus and distribute the cement more evenly and uniformly. All models offer ample clearance for fluid passage and are extra effective in centering the casing, even in highly deviated hole and improve cement flow by reducing the effects of channeling.

Stop collar

Stop collar is used to hold centralizers or cement baskets on any position casing, which ensures the position of centralizers or cement basket to meet the design, the stop collars are available in two types hinges type, slip on type, the stop collars can be installed on casing to limit the axial movement of centralizers and cement baskets.

Usage

1. Fastening screw stop ring when use, first set into the casing ,and then using a wrench to tighten the screws.

2. Fixed screw type when use ,first set into the casing, and then insert screws,Type in with a hammer.

3. Snap fit stop ring, direct stop ring button on the casing, use pin lock, then knocked into the screw.

Hinged bolted stop collars

An economical collar suitable for sub-critical annular tolerances, available in the size range 4-1/2" to 20",it has a cross bolt design which makes it an efficient and user friendly device.

Hinged spiral nail stop collars

Available in the size rang 4-1/2"-20",this device can be in both upset and non-upset casing to provide maximum clearance during rotation. It has a grove in the middle into which a spiral nail can be driven for improved grip on the casing, the broader firmly grips the collar into position around the casing.

Hinged stop collars with set screw

Available in the size rang 4-1/2" to 20", this device has a high cost-utility ratio. This hinged collar with a row of set screw position easily and firmly around the casing.

Slip on stop collars with set screw

This slip-on set screw device is recommended for small hole operations, available in size rang 2-7/8" to 20"and is gripped by a row of screw, this is a heavy duty device.
