(1) Remote Sensing Telemetering Instrumentation: The state puts forward the principle of putting equal emphasis on environmental pollution prevention and ecological environmental protection. To strengthen ecological environment protection, we must monitor the ecological environment in China. Including monitoring of deserts, grasslands, forests, oceans, and agro-ecological environments, it is also necessary to carry out remote sensing telemetry of air pollution, water pollution (such as ocean red tide, oil spill pollution) and pollution sources, and to establish satellite ground receiving systems and satellite image analysis. The system analyzes the current status and changing trends of environmental ecological quality, and provides scientific basis for national environmental protection and construction.
(2) Monitoring of pollution sources: The state shall implement the control and reduction of the total discharge of major pollutants to 18,000 key polluting enterprises across the country to improve the quality of the environment. Therefore, 18,000 large polluters are required to gradually install on-line continuous automatic monitoring systems. There are few mature domestic instrument systems, and the demand is much greater than the environmental quality monitoring, which is mainly purchased by polluting companies. The industries are mainly electric power, petrochemicals, building materials, metallurgy, paper making, food and urban sewage treatment plants, and the potential market is from several billion to tens of billions of yuan.
(3) Environmental quality monitoring. At present, the national environmental protection system and various departments, industries, and enterprises have built more than 4,000 monitoring stations, employing more than 60,000 employees, and many environmental research institutes. In recent years, it is the period of environmental science and monitoring and analysis instruments, equipment replacement and upgrading. The National Environmental Protection Agency plans to equip the country with more than 400 national network monitoring stations; more than 350 environmental information centers: 100 urban air ground automatic monitoring systems. Initial plans to invest 1.5 billion yuan, of which two-thirds of state investment, one-third of local investment. This does not include the investment in the capacity building of monitoring stations in industries, localities and enterprises, and various departments and localities have their own investment plans according to the needs of environmental protection tasks.
